About Me

I'm Zach Barnett. I am currently working towards a Bachelor of Science in Software Development. I started programming back in high school, making little console based programs, then did a year of a BS Computer Science degree at BYU - Provo. I took a break from that to work in IT, spending 5 years going from 1st tier helpdesk up to Sr. Systems Administrator for a local company.

Various family matters then brought me to California, where due to a much more cutthroat job market, I ultimately ended up in a role closer to accounting for a local retail center. It was this change that encouraged me to pursue a full degree. I chose BYU - Pathway due to the online nature of the program, and the estimated 3-year completion time. At the time, I am estimated to graduate in the fall of 2027.
